Membership is open to all!

Why do people join BAGS?
The society's current membership includes people born and bred in Britain and ex-patriate Germans.  Most members speak some German, but some do not.  All, however, have one thing in common - an interest in all things German.

How much does it cost to join BAGS?
The annual subscription is just £10, reduced to £8 for students and senior citizens. 

Are there any other costs?
Refreshments are served at most lecture meetings and conversation evenings, for which a nominal charge is made. The charge for the meal is notified in advance by the secretary.

Are guests allowed?
Guests are welcome at all meetings.  A nominal charge of £1 per guest is made at lecture and film meetings.

How do I join?
Print off the form below and send it to the secretary or treasurer (see Contact BAGS).  The membership form can be scanned and sent as an e-mail attachment.  It would help the society if you would also consider completing the Gift Aid form (see link below).  As we need this in the original for the bank, please contact us for the postal address.
